Expert Solutions for Power System Efficiency and Reliability

Electrical Power Systems

Our electrical engineers specialize in electrical audits, power system design, performing various simulations, clean energy integration and more, ensuring a holistic approach to electrical design in small to large-scale projects. The various software packages used are ETAP, DigSilent & PSCAD.

CAD-Driven Design

Leveraging cutting-edge CAD software, our engineers create detailed design drawings to guide construction workers and building managers through the intricacies of a building’s electrical system.

Electrical Building Services

We specialize in the costing, design, tender and site monitoring of low voltage & medium voltage electrical installations. Our ingenuity informs ideas that are design-led and sustainable – in buildings, infrastructure, and energy, water and waste utilities. Whether in commercial property, retail, sport, mission-critical facilities, the arts or any market, we meet the creative and commercial demands of designers and developers.

Power System Modelling

Power system modelling is building a digital representation of an electrical network and performing various simulations in order to analyze electrical power systems using design/offline or real-time data..

Power System Studies are comprehensive assessments of the electrical supply system in a given facility. These studies are essential for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of power systems, identifying potential problems and areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Database Validation & Verification

As the next step, load flow and short circuit runs are performed for validation of the converted data. Results are compared with the original database. For data verification purposes, the pre-existing load flow and short circuit results must be provided along with the database.

Model Presentations Setup

The auto-generated one-line diagram is based on logical layout. Some cosmetic layout changes may be required for various study requirements and engineering uses. Where applicable, the sytem model will be arranged to include nested networks (substations) and will be set up for proper impedance, relay, and study presentations of the one-line diagram.

Model Expansion

The system model can be expanded and modified to include new substations or subsystems that have not already been modeled in the existing database / system model. This can also include a built model validation.

Database Synchronization

Power Quality Assessment and Audit

Power quality assessment and audit is an activity to evaluate that the electrical energy entering the equipment has enabled the system to operate properly, efficiently and minimizes long-term risk to the equipment.

Benefits of Power Quality Audit and Analysis:

  • Optimization of the electrical network
  • Reduces equipment failure
  • Increase machine life
